Q: Why is Cocovibe offering students $1,000 Cocovibe Grants?

A: We believe today’s students are in a unique position to make tomorrow a better place for all. That you and your peers have the ideas, energy and passion to drive positive change. And, that the best way we can help is to provide you the cash to make it happen.

Q: Who is eligible to apply for a Cocovibe Grant?

A: In order to be eligible to apply, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years old

  • Be currently enrolled in a school, college, university, or educational program part time or full time

  • Be a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia 

Q: What kind of programs qualify for a grant?

A: Societal or environmental, your program can aim to help a small group, community or the world. Whatever you want to personally accomplish could qualify for a Cocovibe grant. There is no program too big, or too small. 

Q: Do I need permission from a parent or legal guardian to apply?

A: No. You do not need the permission of your parents or a legal guardian to apply for a Cocovibe Grant. 

If you are 13–17 years old, and are selected as a conditional Cocovibe Grant recipient, you and your parent or legal guardian will need to sign all required documents, prior to receiving a Cocovibe Grant.  

Q: What can I expect when I am filling out the application?

A: There are about 10 questions in the application you will be need to answer. And you will need to supply a reference. We want to know as much about your program as you can tell us! Why are you passionate about your cause? What is the impact you hope to make? How you will use the grant money to bring your vision to life?

Q: How do I apply?

A: Applications are completed online. Click HERE to access the Cocovibe Student Grant application. 

Q: Why do I need to register?

A: Your registration links your application to an account so that you can easily start your application and come back to finish at a later time if needed. 

Q: When do I need to apply by?

A: We are accepting applications until July 31, 2022. Applications will be reviewed and considered on an ongoing basis as they are received. 

Q: When might I receive a Cocovibe Grant?

A: Cocovibe Grants will be awarded on an ongoing basis, as applications are received. Our plan is to give away one Cocovibe Grant per week.

Q: What if I have more than one program or cause that I’m passionate about and want to enter?

A: You can apply for a Cocovibe Grant to support more than one program. If you have multiple programs, use the same account you registered for when you submitted your first application.  

Q: What can I use the grant for?

A: If you are selected to receive a $1,000 Cocovibe Grant, the grant must be used to execute your program as you have outlined in your application. 

Q: How will I know you received my application?

A: Upon submitting your application, you will receive an email confirmation to confirm we have received your submission. 

Q: What happens after I submit my application?

A: If your program is selected for further consideration, we will contact you via the email and/or phone number you have provided to schedule an interview to learn more about your program
